Day 3 or 4 or 16 thousand of working on this space. I have no concept of time anymore. But life is great and they say time flies when you're having fun. Taking down big trees with one of my best friends for the past couple of decades made for such a fun day.
If I recall correctly, the final tally was 17 trees. My neck was still killing me from previously stressing it on the tractor with 3-point work, so Jeremy was the lucky one swinging the hammer all day. The chainsaw was about as much as my neck could handle. But in the end, we were able to get all of the trees within striking distance of the shop taken down. I'll continue to process the downed
material, but the big picture of the rest of these trees is on pause until I either get a sawmill or need to take down more.
