THE DAYS OF TARPING ALL OF OUR TOOLS AT THE LAND ARE OVER!!! YESSSSSSS! The roof has been installed, and an empty shell of potential has never looked so good. Soooo good! While the shop builder has one more day to button up the lean-to and trim around the roof, having a dry space to store stuff is a super
big deal for us. 226 days of working around the weather where every time we stop we have to pick up and pile everything under a tarp and hope all of our tools and supplies don’t get muddy or wet. Doable but highly annoying. Tarps no more!
Day 6 of the 40x60x14 shop build began with purlins going up on the lean-to and ended with four
sheets of metal on the lean-to roof. The wind was just too much to continue working safely. Honestly, I’m surprised they even showed up that day. They worked until lunch when the wind started blowing around 25mph. The light at the end of the tunnel is getting more pronounced! Honestly, the light looks like a 12×12 roll up door at the end of a not-yet-lit shop :)
