This is definitely something different, but interesting. A friend of mine created an American Civil War museum, focusing on rolling artillery. He's got a Wheeling Ambulance, Rolling Forge, a dozen or so cannons, including an original 1840's 24pdr Howitzer, the only known existing original 24pdr Howitzer Ammunition Chest,
a Quartermaster Carriage (I think that's what it's called), a Sweetgum Mortar, a full 4-horse Gun Battery, hundreds and hundreds of artifacts, a few more carriages, and probably more that I can't name. This video covers the Battery Wagon C, which is like the 1860's version of The Home Depot on wheels. It's got everything you can think of that was necessary to support a battalion.
Duffy is a walking encyclopedia of the American Civil War, he truly is. It is fascinating listening to someone talk about a topic they are so knowledgeable and passionate about. Duffy has a LONG bio of accomplishments and credentials regarding American Civil War history and I highly recommend anyone who may pass through central Mississippi to give Duffy a call and schedule a visit to his museum. He doesn't charge admission and works off of donations only. No group
is too big or too small. It truly is a fascinating place to visit.

In real time, I've got a LOT of editing to do. One more video for the apartment progress and another video taking down the largest tree I've ever cut; a 32" diameter hickory.
